This site features work by Malaya Wright ('23) for an exhibition in Hutchins Library titled Feminist Expressions in Action! in Fall of 2021.
A reception, funded by the Berea College Women and Gender Studies Program, will be held in the library from 3-4pm on September 3, 2021. Stop by if you want to unpack beauty standards, rape culture, radical Blackness, cultural and social homogeneity, controlling images of Black women, the importance of intersectionality, colorism, normalization of plastic, or beauty 'enhancements'!
